Cable from inverter to main board

Just had my 16 panel solar installation put on my house today and come home to find that the electrician has not run the cable from the inverter to the main board but tapped into the upstairs plug sockets as he said this does the same job as these sockets go direct to the main board. He said this is common in new builds as extremely hard to run cable without being visable. Can you confirm this as even the sales person had to ring the electrician to find out what he was doing and no mention from the 3 quotes from any other company’s that they would do this, cheers

Absolutely not. The PV circuit has to be on its own radial circuit with its own 16amp MCB or RCD. Wiring it into the house socket circuit is an absolute non starter.
