To ensure a quality installation, full payment
is made by you the client minus £1000 install retainer on fully installed
systems. The remaining £1000 will be payable to the installer on installation
day, when you the client is happy with the quality of installation. Final
payment constitutes, you the client have quality checked the work done and
are happy to sign off the work as good.
Solar installers (when applicable) are vetted and Heat my Home run a '3 strikes' and out policy, to ensure users of Heat my Home receive a quality service expected.
Completed payment submission through 'Google Checkout' is and will be a declaration that you have read the terms and conditions, and accepted the terms for business.
We operate a "no-quibbles" guarantee for quality, if for any reason you are unhappy with your purchase quality, simply return it, in its original condition within 14 days from date of invoice. We will then issue a full refund for the price you paid for the item.
If the item is either faulty or damaged please return to the return address, and we will arrange for a replacement or refund. Heat my Home cannot be held responsible in anyway for delivery of any goods, supplied by Micro Generation.
With returned items the 'returner' must oblige to pay the return shipping costs if you 'just change your mind'. We will refund your money as soon as possible or within 30 days of cancellation.
10 years warranty is on the solar tube's.

If we cannot find you a qualified installer within 5 business days, then Heat my Home will return the full deposit amount within as soon as possible or within 30 days.
You have the 'unconditional right' to cancel an order within a seven-day cooling-off period starting the day after pre-booking/ordering, and cancellations after this peroid must oblige to pay administration costs of 50% of the deposit value.
Independent installers recommended by Heat
my Home, and their installation are supplied by, and you will need to enter
into a contract direct with such an installation company, for its supply and
installation. (Some installers may require 50% of costs upfront, and 50% on
completion)
Heat my Home does not warrant and is not liable,
responsible for the grants applications, quality, fitness for purpose or otherwise
of the system or its installation and any other equipment provided by such
an independent, nor for the actions or omissions of such an installation company
or any installer used by an independent installer company recommended by Heat
my Home.
We operate a '3 strikes and your out' policy with all installers to ensure quality to the customer.
Prices quoted, are standard installation prices,
but prices may vary for non standard installations. Heat my Home reserve the
right to change quoted prices, upon confirmation of the clients details submitted
through it's suitability surveys. Installers also reserve the right to change
quoted prices on site, if extra work or components are required to complete
the installation to our high standards. The customer will be notified of such
requirements, and installation will be suspended until further payment is
agreed.
All installers are independent tradesmen and are not employed by Heat my Home, thus desputes or complaints about any aspect of the installation, must be handled with your installer directly.
Installers and customers must use equipment ordered through Heat my Home. Heat my Home does not accept any liability, guarantee or warranty of systems, installed using non Heat my Home accredited equipment will not be guaranteed for quality or installtion.
Some properties may need a secondary survey, before a final quotation can be established.
Grants must be arranged via your installer.
'Standard price' is classed as installation to an existing 'gravity feed system'. Properties without, or installation to non 'gravity feed' systems may require extra costs. This is at your installers discretion.
Deposits are not refunded if information submitted through the 'home suitability survey' is incorrect, and the installer cannot install due to incorrectly submitted information by the customer.
